SPBStopRecording
You can use theSPBStopRecordingfunction to end a recording from a sound input device.
FUNCTION SPBStopRecording (inRefNum: LongInt): OSErr;
inRefNum- The device reference number of the sound input device, as obtained from the
SPBOpenDevicefunction.DESCRIPTION
TheSPBStopRecordingfunction stops recording from the device specified by theinRefNumparameter. The recording must be asynchronous forSPBStopRecordingto have any effect. When you callSPBStopRecording, the sound input completion routine specified in thecompletionRoutinefield of the sound input parameter block is called and theerrorfield of that parameter block is set toabortErr. If you are writing a device driver, you will receive aKillIOStatuscall. See the section "Writing a Sound Input Device Driver" beginning on page 3-13 for more information.SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
